Cathy Gee Tallent

Obituary: Cathy Gee Tallent, age 42 of Kannapolis, passed away on Friday, July 6th, 2018. She was born on March 21st, 1976 in Cabarrus County to Harold Gee and Brenda Leazer Gee. Cathy was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Cathy was a free spirit and had a laugh that could fill the room. She loved animals and enjoyed the outdoors. Cathy was happiest working with her plants, gardening, and playing with her animals. Cathy was preceded in death by her loving father and best friend, Harold Gee. She is survived by her daughters Ellisa and Caylie Tallent (Kearstin Parson) all of Kannapolis, N.C., her mother Brenda Leazer Aldridge (Johnny) of Mooresville, N.C., her sister Jill Gee Barth (Scott) and nieces Amanda, Abby, and Alex Barth all of Myrtle Beach, S.C. A visitation for family and friends will be from 6 until 8pm on Thursday, July 12th, 2018 at Whitley's Funeral home in Kannapolis. The funeral services will be held at West Corinth Baptist Church in Mooresville at 3pm on Friday, July 13th, 2018. Pastor Robert Suttles will be officiating.
