Carol Clark

Carol Elaine Woodall Clark, 81, of China Grove, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.

Carol was born on March 8, 1942 in Wake County, NC to the late Haywood Woodall and Elaine Cooper Woodall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Marc Clark.

Carol lovingly cared for generations of children as the owner and operator of Mama Carol’s Daycare in China Grove for over 30 years. She was a faithful Christian who loved the Lord. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of China Grove. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, and solving word search puzzles. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband of 63 years, Bobby Clark; son, Bryant (Kim) Clark; daughter, Pam (Bret) Higginbotham; daughter-in-law, Susan Clark; 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Iris Morris.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 23 at First Baptist Church of China Grove. The funeral service will follow and begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Trent Drye officiating. Entombment will immediately follow the service at West Lawn Memorial Park.
