Larry Lee

Larry Ronald Lee, 82, of Kannapolis, passed away, October 20, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus.
He was born October 24, 1939 in Kannapolis to the late Cletus N. Lee and Vera Miller Lee.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Korea and Japan. He adored his wife, children, and grandchildren. Larry enjoyed salt and fresh water fishing. He loved the outdoors and living in the country. He loved gardening, planting flowers, rose bushes, a wide variety of tomatoes and vegetables. Larry loved his country and proudly displayed American flags in honor of our nation and all our veterans.
He was preceded in death by his wife Diane G. Lee in 2014.
Those left to cherish her memory his wife Wilma Erwin Lee, daughter Danette Lee Pierce, son, Ronald Keith Lee, daughter in law Michelle Hilson Lee, grandchildren; Andrew Allan Pierce, Stephanie Ann Pierce, Nathan Keith Lee, Jacob Griffin Lee, Great grandchildren, Caleb, Alyssa, Veda, Holden, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, October 24, 2022 at First Wesleyan Church with Rev. Scott Wheeler and Larry's son, Rev. Ronald Keith Lee officiating, burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park with Military Honors.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:30 to 3:00 PM at the church.
