Lynne Doris (Bisbee) Mercier

Kannapolis

Lynne Doris Bisbee Tiefenauer Mercier, 70, of Kannapolis, NC passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Atrium Health, Concord. Born November 20, 1948 in Brockton, MA, she is the daughter of the late William Edward and Sarah Edith Blumberg Bisbee.

Lynne is survived by her daughter Michelle Richards and husband Tony of Cave Creek, AZ and her son John Tiefenauer of Kannapolis.

She is also survived by a brother, Dana Bisbee and wife Jacqueline of Charlestown, MA, and two sisters: Eleanor Young of Brockton, MA and Barbara Fortin and husband Edmond of South Easton, MA. She will also be missed by her numerous nieces and nephews.

Lynne was born and raised in Brockton, MA. She moved to North Carolina more than 20 years ago, where she gained an appreciation for the much simpler lifestyle of the south. She will always be remembered for being funny, outgoing and very generous. Her hobbies included gardening, traveling and reading, with her current area of study being the Amish lifestyle. Lynne loved animals, with her big heart leading her to rescue many dogs and cats over the years.

A celebration of Lynne’s life will be held on Saturday November 9, 2019 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM at Stix and Stones, 800 Brockton Avenue, Abington, MA 02351. Family and friends are encouraged to come share their memories of her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Cabarrus Pets Society P.O. Box 5042 Concord, NC 28027.
