Martha King Coleman Earnhardt, 91, of Kannapolis passed away peacefully at her home on Christmas Day with her family by her side. She was born July 15, 1930 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late William and Cora Belle Coleman. She had 11 brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Earnhardt and three sons, Dale Earnhardt, Sr., Randy Earnhardt and Danny Earnhardt.
Martha was a very caring and Godly woman that lived a full Christian life. She was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to all her family and also a mother figure to a lot of other family members throughout her lifetime. Martha was very active at her church, Memorial Baptist Church for many years.
A celebration of her life will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Memorial Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Jason Barber. (The family requests that all who attend be mindful and wear a mask and keep social distance. For those who cannot attend or choose not to attend, her service will be livestreamed on MBchurch.org.)
Martha is survived by two daughters, Kaye Snipes and Cathy Watkins (Mike), 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren, brothers, Bob Coleman and W.L. Coleman.
The family requests that memorials be made to either the Dale Jr. Foundation and/or Memorial Baptist Church, 1785 Dale Earnhardt Blvd., Kannapolis, NC 28083.
