Nancy L. (Slusser) Beaver

Nancy L. Beaver, 76, of China Grove, passed away Friday morning, May 7, 2021, at her home.

Born June 17, 1944, in Aliquippa, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Jean Gender.  In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Wayne Beaver, and a grandson, Ben Thomas.

Mrs. Beaver was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with and cooking for her family, always making sure everyone had plenty to eat.   Nancy was a member of Homestead Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

Family members include her children, Kim Thomas (Bennit), David Mariano, Michael Beaver (Teresa) and Pam Beaver; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her sister, Martha Pennington; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm Monday, May 10th, at Homestead Baptist Church.  Services to remember and give thanks for her life will begin at 2:00 pm in the church, conducted by Pastor Mitch Thomas and family friend, Jeff Smith.  Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park, where Mrs. Beaver will be laid to rest with her husband.
