Stephen Patrick Gebhardt

Stephen Patrick Gebhardt, 39, of Salisbury, passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon, February 10, 2023, at his home.

Born April 16, 1983, in Ocean County, NJ, Stephen was the son of Stephen Paul and DonnaMaria Fusco Gebhardt.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Janet Elaine Fusco and paternal grandfather, Fred William Gebhardt.

Stephen was a driver for US Foods, having earlier been employed with McLane. He was a devoted father, son, uncle and loving boyfriend.  He had a huge heart and was a friend to everyone. Stephen enjoyed riding his Harley and absolutely loved his dogs; Brooklyn, Emerson and Jersey.  Gone too soon, he will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.

Family members left to cherish Stephen’s memory, in addition to his parents, include his much-loved children, Anthony, Angelina and Andreas Gebhardt; his beloved fiancee of 10 years, Sara Goodspeed; sister, Melissa Maria Childress (Joey); nieces, nephews and cousins, Layton, Arabella and Aubrey Childress; and much-loved aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 pm Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Whitley’s Funeral Home.  Funeral services to remember and celebrate Stephen’s life will begin at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
