Adelta "Sis" Pauline Moore Comer

Adelta “Sis” Pauline Moore Comer,72 of China Grove went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Tucker Hospice House following a period of declining health.

She was born June 18, 1952 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Johnny Moore and Hildred Spears Moore. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Martin Comer in 2022.

Adelta was employed at Atrium Health CMC Hospital as a data input specialist until her retirement. She loved to sew and do crafts, shop, travel and cook.

Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her joy.

The family will hold private services at a later date.

Survivors include four daughters; Sylvia Austin, Lori Ewart, Melissa Hampton and Ashlyn Shrader and husband Austin. She is also survived by three sons, Jason Comer, Clint Meece and wife Courtney ,and Brian Meece and wife Kandyce. One brother, Terry Moore and wife Robin, and a sister, Shirley Ann Galloway.

Also surviving are five grandchildren; Christopher Austin, Tristin Walter (Julie), Patrick Walter (Jessi), Colt Meece and Cade Shrader and six great grandchildren; Hunter and Tate Walter, Camleigh Long, Thalia Benfield, Patrick Walter, Jr. and Lewis Walter.
