Ailene Dayvault Seymour

Obituary: Aliene Dayvault Seymour of Kannapolis died Friday, December 31, 2010 at the Bob and Carolyn Tucker Hospice House after a brief period of illness. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 2nd at Midway United Methodist Church with Rev. Dave Cash officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the fellowship Hall at the Church one hour prior to the funeral. Aliene was born in Cabarrus Co. to the late A. C. Dayvault, Sr. and the late Ada Linn Dayvault. She graduated from Winecoff High School and was retired from Cannon Mills Co. She was a beloved member of Midway United Methodist Church where she served in the choir, the Fidelas Sunday School class, the Billie Reed U M W Circle and the Senior Club. In addition to her parents, Aliene was preceded in death by her husband, A. O. "Buck" Seymour and her brothers, Bernard L. Dayvault and A. C. Dayvault, Jr. Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Sarah Dayvault of Kannapolis and Ann Dayvault of Wilmington; nephews, Steve Dayvault of Wilmington, Richard Dayvault of Grand Junction, CO., Tom Dayvault of High Point and Lynn Dayvault of Treasure Island, FL; and her niece, Jane Dayvault Kiser of Kannapolis.
