Alejandro Ascencion

Obituary: Alejandro Ponciano Escobar Ascencion, three month old infant son of Wilson Estuardo Escobar Martinez and Sara Alicia Ascencion went to be with Jesus on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at his residence. He had been ill since birth. Alejandro enjoyed watching moving lights and listening to music ranging from lullabies to Beethoven. He enjoyed leaving his hands uncovered so he could touch those he loved. Survivors in addition to his parents include paternal grandfather Mario Alejandro Escobar, his maternal grandmother Dawn Dancy and paternal step grandfather Eric Dancy both of Rockwell, his paternal grandfather Ponciano Ascencion of China Grove and two sisters Araceli and Leslie of the home. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Marioli Martinez and his cousins, Anna Ascencion and Catalina Ascencion. There will be a graveside service for Alejandro 11:00 Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove conducted by Father Al Riquelme, C.Ss.R.
