Alvin “Dean” Lail, 63, of Concord, passed away Monday evening, November 16, 2020, at Novant Health Presbyterian Hospital, from complications due to an accidental fall.
Dean was born January 12, 1957, in Concord, a son of the late Winferd Milton and Elizabeth Watts Lail. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Roger Stephens.
Dean was owner/operator of Circle C Enterprises and had professionally driven a truck for 36 years. When not working, he enjoyed tinkering in his shop and could fix anything. A devoted and loving husband, father, brother and grandfather, Mr. Lail will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Loving family members include his devoted wife of 38 years, Cindy McGraw Lail; his son, Jake Lail and wife, Emily; his much loved grandchildren, Sara Jo Lail and Gatlin Dean Lail; sisters, Cynthia Stephens and Gloria Hopkins (Tim Lowder); nieces, Renee, Kelly and Ashley; and a nephew, Mark.
Graveside services to remember and celebrate the life of Mr. Lail will begin at 2:00 pm Friday, November 20th, at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery, conducted by Jake Lail. The family will speak with friends following the graveside service. Mr. Lail will be lie in state at Whitley's Funeral Home on Friday from 9:00-12:00 pm.
