Ambrose Junior Brown

Obituary: Ambrose "Junior" Brown, age 88, of China Grove passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 at his home. Mr. Brown was born May 18, 1929 in Wilkes County, NC the son of the late Ambrose Floyd Brown and Ollie Watson Brown. He worked for Cannon Mills for 46 years until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards with his family and all sports. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of over 65 years Daphne Grimes Brown; son Robin Derrell Brown; grandsons Kabin Brown (Carrie) and Ryan Brown (Elizabeth); brother Ransom Brown and sisters Ruth Holbrook and Irene Moose. Visitation will be from 1-2:00 PM Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Whitley's Funeral Home and service will follow at 2:00 PM conducted by Elder Bill Barbaree with burial to follow at Westlawn Memorial Park.
