Amy Louise Therrell, 29, of Salisbury passed away September 4, 2021 at Novant Rowan Medical Center. She was born March 5, 1992 in Rowan County, a daughter of Tony Therrell, Jr and Carol Jolly Knickerbocker.
Amy had formerly worked at FedEx but mostly loved being a mom to her two children. She graduated from South Rowan High School where she was former cheerleader. She also danced with Dance Dreams for many years. Amy also loved art. She attended West Point Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Eddie Willis. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:30 AM prior at Whitley’s.
Amy is survived by her children, Serenity Therrell, Justin “JJ” Sprinkle, II, mother, Carol Jolly Knickerbocker (James), father, Tony Therrell (Kathy), Boyfriend, Justin Sprinkle, sister, Ashley Overcash (Derrick), brother, Christopher Austin, grandparents, Tony and Judy Therrell, Mildred Jolly (and the late Silas Simon Jolly) and many extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that people make a donation for her children, Serenity and JJ, to 190 Jodie Court, Mooresville, NC 28115.
