Obituary: Ann Brown Bange Cavin, 82, passed away Thursday evening, August 10, 2017 at CHS-Northeast Medical Center. Born June 6, 1935 in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late Walter Lee and Mary Morris Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband James I. Bange, her second husband David M. Cavin, a daughter Tanya Bange and 6 siblings. Ann had retired from Cannon Mills after more than 30 years of loyal service. She was a dedicated and active member of Jackson Park Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she had been a choir member, Sunday school teacher, senior citizen group leader and church board member. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother to her family and will always be remembered as someone who loved life to the fullest. Mrs. Cavin will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Family members include her children Ronnie Bange (Suzette), Julie Wagner, Carla McGinty (Tom) and Freddie Holshouser; her brothers Hoyle Brown (Zenna), Pete and Bub Brown; her grandchildren James W. Bange, Chris (Leslie), Jon, Daniel and Zach Wagner, Brittany and Tiffany Lefler, Cara, Gina and Christian Holshouser; great-grandchildren Hyatt and MJ Wagner; her fiancé Paul Jr. Stamey, and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 15th from 11:00 - 1:00 pm at Jackson Park Pentecostal Holiness Church in Kannapolis. Funeral services to remember and celebrate the life of Mrs. Cavin will begin at 1:00 pm in the church, conducted by the Revs. Ed Burns and Jimmy Barnhill. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Jackson Park Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1008 Moose Rd., Kannapolis, NC 28083.
