Anne Jones Anderson

Obituary: Anne Jones Anderson, 93, of China Grove passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013. She was born May 20, 1920 in Marshville, NC, the daughter of the late Thomas and Blanche Hinson Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Newell Anderson and her son, Kent Gaddy. She retired from Cannon Mills Co. and was a member of Rodgers Park Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, Oct. 12th at West Lawn Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Ralph Robinette. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 PM Saturday at Whitley's Funeral Home. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Kearns (Doug), four grandsons, Ashley (Patty), Paige (Tracey), Lennie (Angie), Darren (Keo) and nine great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House, 1229 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC 28144 and/or Rodgers Park Baptist Church 309 E. 24th Street, Kannapolis, NC 28083.
