Obituary: Annie Belle Barnette Bebber, 98, of Kannapolis passed away on September 5, 2016 at her home. She was born June 4, 1918 in Wilkes County, a daughter of the late Christopher Solomon Barnette and Artie Laws Barnette. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ned Bebber in 2000. Annie had formerly worked at Cannon Mills. She loved spending time with her family. She loved to sew and cook in her earlier years. She also loved watching hummingbirds. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel officiated by Rev. Gene Edwards. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:30 PM Wednesday at Whitley's Annex Chapel. She is survived by 5 children, Jerry Ned Bebber, Bobby Wayne Bebber, Marcia Bebber Wilhelm, Wanda Bebber Aistrop, Libby Sharon Bebber, 6 grandchildren, Bobby Wayne Bebber Jr., Billy Paul Bebber, Tanya Wilhelm Pruitt, Melissa Wilhelm Eaton, Joshua Scott Funderburk, Jeremy Lynn Funderburk, 5 great grandchildren, Aliyah Pruitt, Elijah Pruitt, Dexter Eaton, Katlyn Funderburk and Bella Bebber.
