Annie Louise Pinion Preslar

Obituary: Annie Louise Pinion Preslar, 86, of 901 Hwy 24/27 East, Midland, NC died at CMC-Main in Charlotte on August 14, 2014. Mrs. Preslar was born on May 7, 1928 in Stanly Co., the daughter of the late Theodore Roosevelt Pinion and the late Bernice Haithcock Pinion. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Preslar and a son, Donald Preslar. Louise was a devoted member of Pine Grove Baptist Church for many years. She and her husband were owner/operators of Preslar Hardware located on Highway 24/27 in Midland. She cherished her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great-great grandson. She was also proud to be a member of the "Young at Heart" at Dulins Grove Church. The service for Mrs. Preslar will take place at 4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 17th at Pine Grove Baptist Ch. conducted by Rev. Ray Rivenbark. The family will receive friends from 2-4:00 at the church before the service. Entombment will take place at Sunset Memory Garden on Lawyers Road in Charlotte at 9 a.m., Monday. Survivors include seven grandchildren: Scott Preslar, Connie P. Russ, Gina Shafer, John Preslar, Amy Mills, Jason Preslar and Joy Bolton; fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
