Anthony Darrin Linker

Obituary: Anthony "Tony" Darrin Linker, 51, of China Grove went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 26, 2019. Death was unexpected. Tony was born August 18, 1967 in Rowan County, NC a son of Arlie Bernard and Margaret Louise Swanner Linker of China Grove. He was a 1985 graduate of South Rowan High School. He worked at Hitachi Metals until becoming disabled. Tony enjoyed golfing and fishing. He was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents he is survived by one son, Cody Linker of Salisbury, three sisters, Vickie Harrington and husband Johnny of Salisbury, Patty Wyrick and husband Bill of Kannapolis and Debbie Walters and husband Jerry of China Grove. He is also survived by two brothers, Barry Linker and wife Beth of Albemarle and Ronnie Linker of Salisbury. A Memorial Service to celebrate Tony's life will be held 4:00 P.M. Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Sloan Lake Community Church conducted by Dr. Zachary Sizemore. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:30 P.M.-4:00 P.M. prior to the service. At other times they will be at the home of his parents. The family requests that memorials be made to Sloan Lake Community Church, 140 Glory Rd, China Grove, NC 28023.
