Obituary: Archie Ray Little, 76, died Friday, January 20, 2012 at his residence. A funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow Monday, January 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Carolina Memorial Park. Ray Little was born in Cabarrus County April 19, 1935 to the late Odell and Ethel Hartsell little. He retired after 35 years of service from Roadway Trucking and attended Concord First Assembly. Survivors include his wife, Vena C. Little; two daughters, Ann Sartin and her husband, Jr., Vicki McGinnis and her husband, Gary; a brother, Buck Little and his wife, Carol; and three sisters, Doris Cline (Bud), Helen Troutman, and Ruby Brawley(Jim); five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great -great grandchild.He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Phyllis Little; and two brothers, Wade Little, and Gene Little.Online condolences may be sent to www.whitleysfuneralhome.com
