Ashton Leigh (Burleson) Brown

Ashton Leigh Brown 31, of Kannapolis, and formerly of the Beckley, West Virginia area, passed away at home on July 15, 2022 after a period of declining health.

Born July 8, 1991 in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Jonathan Burleson and Mary Miller Burleson of China Grove. Ashton loved shopping for clothes, spending time with her children Jase and Raylan, and visiting Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, TN.

Aside from her mother, Ashton is survived by her husband Ian Brown; her two children, Jase and Raylan; a brother, Johnathan Burleson; and her grandmother, Wanda Hall.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Whitley's Funeral Home, 1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd Kannapolis. There will be no public viewing.

The family will receive friends Tuesday July 26 at Melton Funeral Home in Beckley WV from 4:00 to 6:00 PM followed with a celebration of life service at 6:00 PM in their Chapel. Condolences may be expressed online at www.whitleysfuneralhome.com
