Avis adored her family so much, and touched everyone that she met. She was always trying to help others the best that she could. Avis truly loved her family, as well as her fur babies, Leo, Cocoa and Buddy. Although in a much better place today, Avis will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her

When I pass, and leave this tethered body behind, please find
joy in the ashes left behind as my spirit and body are no longer
In pain. Think of me as a bird in flight, leaving this Earth to find
my eternal life. I look upon the wildflowers and fresh garden
herbs gently swaying with the wind atop a lovely mountain
meadow on a warm, spring day. The subtle fragrances dance off
the soft wind, playfully teasing my senses. As I close my eyes to
recognize the beautiful scents there is the faint sound of peaceful
and calming music very familiar to my ears, yet too soft to
recognize. I look down at the traveling river moving slowly in
steed and sit amazed at the overwhelming beauty God has given
me. I noticed Leelee by my side all healed and content. I
reach over to rub my beautiful boy and he licks me back letting
me know he loves me too. Looking off to the horizon I see
calming sun setting across the sky. I hear voices and look up to
see all of my passed loved ones running toward me with hands
outreached and with big smiles on their faces. Yes, this is My
Heaven.
