Barbara Ann (Fortner) Brock

Barbara Ann Brock, 81 of Concord, formerly of Landis, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Five Oaks Manor following a period of declining health. She was born December 29, 1940 in Cabarrus County, NC a daughter of the late Roy Otto and Valley Cleo Haynes Fortner. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Doyle Brock who died in 1992, and three children; Myra Lambert, Tony Brock, and Billy Dale Brock.

Mrs. Brock was employed at Del-Ray Fabrics until her retirement. She was an accomplished seamstress and loved to write.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 6, 2022 at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove.

Family members left to cherish her memory include four grandchildren; Miranda Miller of Concord, Stephen Miller of Concord, Chris Miller and wife Ashley of Kannapolis and Nick Brock of Hudson. One great grandchild, Jace Miller of Kannapolis also survives.
