Obituary: Barbara Furr Childers, 71 of Concord, NC died at her home on Feb. 5, 2015. Barbara is survived by her husband, Edward Childers of the home, 2 daughters; Kelly C. Adkins & Kimberly C. Strickland, 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; JoAnn Furr and Becky McRorie and a brother, Jerry Furr. A memorial service will take place at 4pm, Sunday, Feb. 8th at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel.
