Obituary: Barbara Louise Ecklar Douglass, 73, of Kannapolis died Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Tucker Hospice House after a period of declining health. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 5 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg, SC. Barbara was born December 29, 1945 in Long Beach, CA, a daughter of the late Benjamin Edward and Francis Fox Ecklar. She earned her lifetime teaching credentials in CA and taught school in CA and Panama. She was an experienced world traveler. She is survived by her husband, Allen Douglass of Kannapolis and her brother, Benjamin Ecklar and loving nieces and nephews.
