Barbara Crisco Robinette

Obituary: Barbara Crisco Robinette, 80, passed away Sunday, December 02, 2012 at the Tucker Hospice House. Mrs. Robinette was born September 14, 1932 in Rowan County to the late Roy Crisco and Pauline Trexler Crisco. She was married to the late Earnest L. Robinette who preceded her in 2009. Barbara retired after 30 years of service from Cannon Mills Plant #1 and she was a member of First Baptist Church in Kannapolis, NC. Survivors include her two sons, Ricky D. Robinette of Rockwell, NC and Randy L. Robinette and his friend Wanda Stewart of Spartanburg, S.C.; three grandsons, Jesse L. Robinette, Jason O. Robinette, and Travis T. Robinette; and a sister, Gloria C. Drake (Clark) of Bakerfield, NC. A funeral service will be held 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Robinette and Rev. Tom Cabaniss officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1:00-2:30 P.M. prior to the service at Whitley's Funeral Home.
