Barry Allen Eury, 58, passed away unexpectedly Monday evening, December 2, 2019, at his home.
Born August 1, 1961 in Cabarrus County, Barry was a son of the late Ralph and Doris Jean Godfrey Eury. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly L. Eury, on July 18, 2019.
Barry had been owner and operator of Barry Eury Plumbing for many years, most recently working for Cabarrus County School System. An avid deer hunter, he also enjoyed fishing and NASCAR. A loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend of many, Barry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family members left with fond memories include his daughters, Nikki Workman and husband, Phillip, and Whitney Langley and her husband, Lee; his grandchildren, Pipper, Vann and Salem Workman, and Jackson and Jasper Langley; his brother, Tony Eury (Lynne); sisters, Judy Lippard (David) and Sherry Earnhardt (Danny); and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, December 5, 2019, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Whitley’s Funeral Home. Services to remember and celebrate Barry’s life will begin at 12:00 PM Friday, December 6th in Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by John Curran. Barry will be laid to rest with his wife at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery.
