Barry Steven Hale, 70, of Kannapolis, peacefully passed away at his home surrounded by love on Saturday morning, November 19, 2022.
Born July 22, 1952, in Iredell County, he was a son of the late William Alvin and Betty Hudson Hale.
Barry was a proud 1970 graduate of AL Brown High School and had earned the distinction of Eagle Scout. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and had retired from Fiber Industries after more than 30 years of loyal service. Barry loved all of his family and the time spent with them, and enjoyed the beach and restoring old cars. A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, Mr. Hale will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
Family members left with cherished memories include his devoted wife of 49 years, Deborah Hughes Hale; daughters, Angela Hale (Kevin) and Amy Walters (Keith); his granddaughter, Shelby Walters; brothers, Jeff Hale (Tracey) and Dean Hale; nieces, nephews and extended family members.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 23rd, from 12:30-1:30 pm at Whitley’s Funeral Home. Graveside services to remember and celebrate Barry’s life will begin at 2:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Jim Watford.
The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Cabarrus County, especially Cindy and Amy, for the care, concern and love they extended to Mr. Hale and his family.
