Bennick Dennis Rinehardt, Jr

Bennick Dennis Rinehardt, Jr., 42 years old, of Concord, passed away suddenly on October 19, 2023.  Dennis was born on July 21, 1981, in Cabarrus County to Bennick Rinehardt and Nancy “Darlene” Jenkins Hensley.

Dennis was extremely proud of his Cherokee heritage. He graduated from Northwest Cabarrus High School in 2000.  He especially loved his family and friends, drag racing, the Dallas Cowboys and Duke University.  Dennis worked in the HVAC industry for about 20 years with various companies throughout the area.

Dennis is survived by his mother, Nancy “Darlene” Jenkins Hensley; his father, Bennick Dennis Rinehardt, Sr. and his wife Janice; his sister, Sabrina Rinehardt and her fiancé Brad Hoggard; his uncles, Scott Dawson and his wife Kim, Kendall Jenkins, Devin Jenkins and his wife Wendy, and Joey Rinehardt and his wife Ganga; his aunt, Lisa Newsome and her husband John; his nephew, Jeremy Bazemore; his niece, Samantha Harris; his great niece, Jazmine Williams; his close friends, Melissa Yarn and Robbie Taylor, and many cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 1-2pm at the Whitley’s Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 2pm in the Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel.
