Benny Joe Mckheean

Benny Joe Mckheean, 74, of China Grove, walked into heaven with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 31, 2021.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Angela Burris officiating.

He was born February 21, 1947, in Cabarrus Co. to the late Joe and Joyce Jefferson Mckheean.

Benny was a graduate of Concord High School and worked for Concord Telephone Company for 35 years as digital switch supervisor until his retirement. He was a collector of Hit and Miss engines. He enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with family.

Those left to cherish his memory; his wife Patsy Broadway Mckheean, step son, Rodney Carter of Kannapolis, granddaughter Sarah Carter who was the light of his life. Two daughters, Lisa, Shannon, granddaughter, Mallory, and also his loving four legged companion Cinderella.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctor at Tucker Hospice for their loving care and sweetness.
