Bernice (Pinkston) Trexler

Bernice P. Trexler, 94, of Kannapolis, passed away Saturday morning, February 27, 2021, at Tucker Hospice House, following a brief period of declining health.

Bernice was born in Rowan County on July 24, 1926, a daughter of the late Walter Carl and Georgia Bell Rabon Pinkston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia K. Spencer; a sister, Ruby Alderman; and brother, Walter Carl Pinkston, Jr.

Bernice had been a loyal employee of Cannon Mills, where she worked as a trainer, and was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. A loving and devoted sister, grandmother and friend of many, Bernice will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family members include her sisters, Barbara Hager and Nancy Martin, her grandson, Steve Williams; son-in-law, Rick Spencer; nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Private graveside services will be held at Carolina Memorial Park.
