Obituary: Betty Rae Sellers Absher, 64, of Harrisburg passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at her home. She was born April 24, 1951 in Mecklenburg County, the daughter of the late Algier "Jim" and Vera Hammond Sellers. She was preceded in death by her son, James Lee Popwell and a brother, Donald Edward Sellers. Betty had worked at East Coast Metal Distributors, Charlotte in sales for many years. She loved traveling, camping and antiques. Family and friends will gather for a celebration of her life on Saturday, June 13, 2015 from 3 to 5 PM at Whitley's Funeral Home. She is survived by her husband, Randy Absher, step son Jacob Absher, wife Hope, grandchildren, Jesse and Troy Absher, sisters, Vera Victoria Wallis, husband Al Wallis, Jr., Goldia Elizabeth Hoffman, husband Sidney Andrew Hoffman, brothers, Allen Sellers, wife Penny and David R.
