Betty Daniel Barnhardt

Obituary: Betty Frances Daniel Barnhardt, 76, of Kannapolis, NC went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at her on Monday, November 1, 2018. Betty was born on December 22, 1941 in Cabarrus County, daughter of the late William Roy Daniel and Hessie Mozelle Childers Daniel. In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her first husband, James Robert McInnis who passed away in February, 1992. Betty was a longtime employee with the former Cannon Mills as a time keeper. She enjoyed square dancing and had a passion for round dancing. She was a selfless, loving, caring person who was also a God fearing Lady. She would do for others before herself. Survivors include her husband Preston Barnhardt, a son, Mark Steven McInnis (Gina); a daughter, Lisa McInnis Gallimore (David); twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings; Johnny Daniel (Brenda), Ronald Daniel, Carol Hinson and Wayne Daniel. The service for Mrs. Barnhardt will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 5, 2018 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor LeReese Barnhardt and Bishop Joseph Watson. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2p.m. before the service at Whitley's.
