Betty Jean Bostian

Obituary: Betty Jean Bostian, 89, formerly of 130 Cimmaron Circle, Kannapolis, passed away April 30, 2018 at Avante at Concord. She was born March 25, 1929 in Rowan County to the late Adam Joseph Helms and Cora Annette Little Helms. Betty was a former member of Wesleyan United Methodist Church in Kannapolis. She was a sewer for Terry Price. She enjoyed many things in life, being a homemaker, fostering children, camping, and collecting baby dolls. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Gilbert Bostian. Those left to cherish her memory, a son Keith Bostian and his wife Jeannie of Kannapolis, one granddaughter Michelle Bostian of Kannapolis, two great-grandchildren Chris and April Hardin of Kannapolis, and one sister Dorothy Jolly of Salisbury. Graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Carolina Memorial Park with the Rev. Mike Hubbard officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00-4:00 PM Thursday prior to the service at Whitley's Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
