Betty Alexander Gulledge

Obituary: Betty Gulledge, 73, of Asheville NC passed away April 26, 2012 with her family by her side. Born in Charlotte, NC she is predeceased by her parents, Robert T. and W. Lois (Tadlock) Alexander and her late husband, Rhett S. Gulledge. She lived in Harrisburg, NC for many years where she was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She loved caring for children, cooking and sharing her love and humor with family and friends. Betty is survived by her son, Steve Gulledge and wife Carolyn and two grandchildren, Rhett and Seth of Raleigh, NC; her daughter, Valerie Gulledge and fiance' Craig Martinkus of Asheville, NC. Services will be at Providence Baptist Church, Harrisburg, NC, April, 30 2012. Visitation with family and friends will be at 1 PM with services at 2 PM and burial to follow at Carolina Park Cemetery, Kannapolis, NC. Arrangements are being handled by Whitley's Funeral Home.
