Betty Mae Pearson Jarvis

Obituary: Betty Mae Pearson Jarvis, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at CMC-NorthEast, Concord, NC. She was born January 5, 1944 in Alexander County, NC, the daughter of the late Roy H. Pearson, Sr. and Dolly Mae Chapman Pearson. Betty was a 1962 graduate of Taylorsville High School. Betty was owner/operator of Quality Accounting Service, Kannapolis, NC for over thirty-five years until her retirement in 2014. She was also an active member of Homestead Baptist Church, Kannapolis, NC. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Roy H. Pearson, Jr. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Homestead Baptist Church, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Mitch Thomas and Rev. Leon Smith. A graveside service will be held later that day at 3:00 PM Saturday at Little River Baptist Church Cemetery, Taylorsville, NC officated by Rev. Jeff Chaqpman. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Saturday at the church prior to the service. Survivors include her two sons, Terry L. Jarvis of Kannapolis, NC and Tracy H. Jarvis of China Grove, NC; grandchildren, Taylor Jarvis Jester, Kristen Jarvis, and Dylan Lackey; great-grandchildren, Gracie and Harmony Jarvis; sisters, Pat Miller of Kannapolis, NC; Cindy Jolly and Kay Hubbard, both of Taylorsville, NC; Lynne Ham of N. Wilkesboro, NC; brothers, Bobby Pearson of Taylorsville, NC; Ricky Pearson of Stony Point, NC; Michael Pearson of Mooresboro, NC; and Darrell Pearson of Blacksburg, SC; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
