Betty Blackwelder Moser

Obituary: Betty Blackwelder Moser, 70, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at her residence. Betty was born on April 29, 1941 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Howard Lee Blackwelder and Pearl Kluttz Blackwelder.A celebration of Betty's life will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Parkwood Baptist Church in Concord with Rev. Michael Waters officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the church prior to the services.A lifelong resident of the area, Betty graduated from Winecoff High School in 1959. She was employed by the former Cannon Mills , Plant One, and later retired from Cabarrus County School System. She was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church.Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Tamara Moser Rush and husband Jeff, two grandsons, Jacob and Jackson Rush, a sister, Shelby Stallings and husband Lee, a brother, Bobby Blackwelder and wife Sue, and her very special friend Wayne Stubbs. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins and many wonderful friends.
