Betty Lou Hurst Patterson

Obituary: Betty Lou Hurst Patterson, 84, of Kannapolis died Friday, March 16, 2012 at Transitional Health Care following a period of declining health. She was born September 10, 1927 in Chesterfield County, SC the last surviving child of Joseph and Mattie Mills Hurst. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel conducted by Rev. Lou Pfeiffer. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Harold Lee Patterson of the Home, two daughters, Jane Dowell and granddaughter Kim Hartis, and Venus Bowman and husband Phil Bowman. One son, Carl Lee Patterson, II and wife Susan Reese Patterson and granddaughter Sarah. Two great grandsons, Chase and Alson Hartis also survive.
