Obituary: Betty Jean Thompson Tidwell Pettit, 81, of Kannapolis died at C.M.C.-NorthEast in Concord on April 12, 2012. Her funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 16th at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Joshua Lee Hughes. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00 a.m. before the service at the funeral home.
