Obituary: Mrs. Betty Pittman, 82, of Kannapolis died Friday, October 21, 2011 at CMC-NorthEast Medical Center, Concord following a period of declining health.She was born December 10, 1928 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Roy and Ella Clayton Troutman. Mrs. Pittman was a member of Midway United Methodist Church and had retired from Cannon Mills Plt. #1, sheet dept. with 40 years of service. She loved to crochet and garden.Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Midway United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Burt Williams. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday at Whitley's Funeral Home. Survivors include three sons, Wayne Query and wife of China Grove, Randy Query and wife of Florida and Kenneth Pittman of Kannapolis. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert J. (R.J.)
