Obituary: Betty C. Steele, 83 of Kannapolis died Thursday, January 1, 2015. Her funeral will be 1:00p.m., Sunday at Franklin Heights Baptist Church with the burial following at Carolina Memorial Park. The receiving will be 6-8:00p.m., Saturday at Whitley's Funeral Home. Betty is survived by husband, Autris E. Steele, 2 sons, Mark Steele and Brian Steel; 2 grandchildren and 3 sisters. Online condolences can be left at: www.whitleysfuneralhome.com.
