Obituary: Kannapolis, NC Betty Joann Jessee Whited Witt, age 77, of Kannapolis, formerly of Bristol TN, died Monday, July 22, 2013 at Carolina Med. Center-NE in Concord after a period of declining health. All funeral arrangements will be private. Betty was born February 4, 1936 in Virginia, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jessee. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Seay of Huntersville and her sons; Dewey Whited of Kannapolis and Jacob Whited of Lexington, 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and her brother, George Jessee of Hansonville, VA.
