Betty Darlene Foster Zeigler, 80, passed away Thursday morning, January 7, 2021, at Tucker Hospice House, following a period of declining health.
Betty was born May 16, 1940, in Randolph County, a daughter of the late Delbert and Viola Hancock Foster.
Mrs. Zeigler had retired from Kayser-Roth of Concord, after many years of loyal service. A member of Central Baptist Church, Betty loved her Lord, her family and her church family. Not being one to “just sit around”, she enjoyed trips to the beach, eating out, and just getting out and enjoying life. Although in a much better place today, Mrs. Zeigler will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Loving family members include her husband of 62 years, Bill Zeigler; her children, Donna Rumple and Bruce Zeigler; and her much loved grandchildren, Timothy and Dillon Rumple, and Anna and Caroline Zeigler.
Graveside services to remember and give thanks for the life of Mrs. Zeigler will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 N. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro, NC, conducted by Rev. Dean Hunter, pastor of Central Baptist Church.
Memorials in Mrs. Zeigler’s name may be made to Central Baptist Church, 1810 Moose Road, Kannapolis, NC 28083.
