Beulah Mincey Melton

Obituary: Landis, NC- Beulah Mincey Melton, age 79, died Thursday, March 19, 2009 at her home after a short illness. She was born September 16, 1929 in Gaston County, NC, the daughter of the late William Frank Mincey and Oma Mann Mincey. She was employed with the former Cannon Mills Co. Plt.#1#6 Weave Room for 36 years.She was also a member of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee Melton in 1997 and a grandchild. The graveside service will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, March 22, 2009 at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove, NC officiated by Rev. Terry Deitz. Survivors include one daughter, Linda M. Sechler of Landis, NC; two sons, Walter Ray Melton of Concord, NC and Roger Dale Melton of Kannapolis, NC; four grandchildren; and one sister, Betty M. Reinders of Davidson, NC In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after the graveside service at West Lawn Memorial Park.
