Beulah Mildred Jones Robinson

Obituary: Kannapolis - Mrs. Beulah Mildred Jones Robinson, 81, of Kannapolis, NC died on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Universal Healthcare in Concord. She was born June 22, 1927 in San Francisco, CA., the daughter of the late George Jones and the late Conchita Garcia Jones. In addition to her parents, Beulah is preceded in death by her husband, Neil Robinson who died in 1977. Mrs. Robinson worked for her families florist, Robinsons Florist which was in the Midway area of Kannapolis and later worked for Cannon Mills. She was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church. She was a loving mother and a very special, loving grandmother. She is survived by a son; Dennis N. Robinson and his wife, Diann of Kannapolis and a daughter, Carol R. Allen and husband, Darrell of Hickory, NC. Also by three grandchildren; Alisha Robinson, Matthew Hale and Lauren Hale and by one great-grandchild; Zane Begley. She is also survived by a brother, Robert Jones of San Francisco, CA. The funeral service for Mrs. Robinson will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 12th at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Crawford officiating. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 -1:30 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
