Obituary: Billie Rebecca Brown Kizziah, 89, passed away Wednesday evening, November 23, 2016 at Autumn Care of Salisbury. Born November 15, 1927 in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late John Boyden Brown and Bessie Mae Schenck Brown. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her husband, Clarence Kizziah, a son Alvin Kizziah, brothers Boyden Brown, Sr. and Michael Brown, and a sister Mae Schenck. Mrs. Kizziah was a member of Rock Grove United Methodist Church. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She loved all of her family and enjoyed the time she was able to spend with them. Graveside services to remember and celebrate the life of Mrs. Kizziah will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 27th, at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Brain Crady, Pastor, Rock Grove United Methodist Church. Family members include her two sons, Oliver Kizziah and wife Rita, and Tim Kizziah and wife Sandy; granddaughters Angela, Tina, Teresa, Christin and Cassie; 8 great-grandchildren; her sisters Frances Duffell and Barbara Kesler; brothers Ken and Charles Brown and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Autumn Care, for the love, care and concern given to Mrs. Kizziah.
