Billy Don Helms

Obituary: Mr. Billy Don Helms, 78, of Kannapolis passed away June 13, 2016 after an extended illness. He was born August 10, 1937 in Union County to the late Carl and Nell Griffin Helms. He attended First Baptist Church of Enochville. He was owner operator of the Pub for thirty plus years. Mr. Helms was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Annette Baldwin and his brother Melvin Helms. Survivors include his wife: Brenda Elaine Helms of the home, two daughters, Gina Helms Hernandez, and Sonia Helms of Kannapolis. Four grandchildren, Amanda Helms, Brandy Hundley, Mitchell Hundley and Andrew Helms. Three great grandchildren, Baylie Hundley, Boston Heller and Kynnedi Heller. The Helms Family will receive friends 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday June 15, 2016 at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel with Rev. Lewis Whittington officiating. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the N.C.
