Billy Ray Justice, 71, of Concord, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Carolinas Medical Center Northeast.
He was born on July 2, 1948 in Taylorville, West Virginia to the late Robert Edward Justice and Anna Mae Justice.
Billy Ray grew up outside Detroit, MI before moving south to North Carolina. He worked as a loom weaver and machine operator at Cannon Mills in Kannapolis for over 10 years. He also worked as a cook at several restaurants, including Grandma’s Country Kitchen in Concord. In his free time, he enjoyed antiquing and collecting clocks. He also enjoyed spending time outside gardening. He will always be remembered for being an overall great guy with a sense of humor.
Those left to cherish his memory include four sisters, Dora Dewitt, Edith Justice, Ruth (John) Mooney and Lynda Cain; nieces, Penny Botello, Michelle Dewitt, and Becky Mooney, and nephew, Isaac Mooney, who will all miss him dearly.
