Obituary: Billy Wade Larrimore Sr., 78, of Kannapolis passed away on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at the Bob and Carolyn Tucker Hospice House. He was born June 12, 1934 in Mullins, SC , the son of the late Marvin Lee Larrimore, Sr. and Liller Tyler Larrimore. He was preceded in death by sisters, Ruth Swanson, Geneva Williamson, Bobbie Rhodes and brother, Frank Larrimore. He owned/operated Larrimore Gutter and Siding for 42 years. He was a veteran of the US Army. His hobbies were fishing and traveling but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013 at Memorial Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Tim McQueen and Rev. Jim Harris. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday at Whitley's. At other times, they will be at the home. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joyce Durham Larrimore, children, Tina Carol Larrimore of Concord, Billy Wade Larrimore, Jr. (Kim) of Kannapolis, Carlis Hardin, Mark Hardin and Darrell Hardin all of Jacksonville, NC, grandchildren, Travis Bare, Dawson Larrimore, Ethan Larrimore and Mallory Larrimore, brothers, Marvin Larrimore Jr., George Larrimore, Cornell Larrimore, sisters, Reba Williamson, Leda White, Blanch Williamson, Beatrice Sidorplous.
