Obituary: Billy Ray Trexler, age 46, of 319 E. 19th Street died Monday, April 12, 2010 at his home after a lengthy period of declining health. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 PM on Friday, April 16, 2010 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jesse Howard officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove. The family will receive friends at Whitley's Funeral Home from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Thursday, April 15, at other times they will be at the family home. Billy was born June 9, 1963 in Cabarrus Co., the son of the late Luther Paul Trexler, Sr. and the late Elizabeth Olive Clonch Trexler. He attended the Denton Church of God. He is survived his brother, Luther Paul Trexler, Jr. of Kannapolis, and sisters, Carolyn Reid of Kannapolis, Ann Brown of North Carolina, Vicki Trexler of China Grove and Crystal Eldreth of Crescent, NC.
