Billy J. Troglin

Obituary: Billy J. Troglin, 51 of Kannapolis, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013 at his residence with his family at his side. His death follows a period of declining health. Mr. Troglin was born in Fulton County Georgia on August 8, 1962. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel officiated by Marlin Mogusu. The family will receive friends prior to the services from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Troglin was formerly employed at the Exxon service station in Charlotte and most recently by G. & S. Metal of Kannapolis. He enjoyed working in his yard and NASCAR. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife; Tonda Brown Troglin of the home, his mother; Faye Elizabeth Jones Troglin Cain and Step-father Bobby J. Cain Sr. of Kannapolis, daughter; Krista Troglin and fiancé Jason Brown Sr. of Kannapolis, a son Billy J. Troglin III of Kannapolis, grandchildren; Jason Brown Jr. and Reese Brown, sisters; Kathy Turner and husband Christopher if Indian Trail, and Betty Brown and husband Larry of Sherrill's Ford, brother; Alton Troglin and wife Pamela of Mooresville, and a half- brother; Bobby J. Cain Jr. and wife Penni of Kannapolis and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Troglin family at 8422 Dogwood Dr., Kannapolis, NC., 28081.
